Hi. I finally get a chance to come over this year. Sounds like Friday may be cool. That usually means north wind. Any suggestions on where to get my wife on some smallmouths? Any luck around the mile roads? Thanks for any help..

I was out earlier this week and did very well. I also plan to be on the lake this Friday so maybe I will see you out there.

I found fish in the Mile roads as I always do. I also found some nice quality fish out a bit deeper in about 15 feet out from the 400 club area. The quanities of fish seem to come near the 9 mile area.

I did some fishing near metro and was able to hook up on some decent fish in about 10 feet as well.

My suggestion is to throw Wayne Carpenter Purple and Gold flake 5" tubes ....... that seemed to be the big bite bait for me.
