Guys,

I heard that you can purchase maps and other add-ons for the Lowrance LCX 15MT. Where and what? Do they cover St. Clair and are they worth the money?

I have the LCX16, basicaly the same as the 15. You can buy map chips that are really good. I use the cd that came with the unit for the incland lakes and purchased the Navonics Classic series chip for this area. It covers Erie, Det. R., St. Clair, St. Clair R., Saginaw Bay, and part of Huron.

I think it is well worth the money. The chip includes depth contours, markers, etc.
