MONGO prompted me to put up this post I've been thinking about for a while. I've met quite a few LSNR's there in the past & we've spoke to a few managers about it.

I could setup a "FREE PREVIEW DAY", then a group discount for members.

I know many groups have a certain day/time that they meet to workout together.

Who would be interested? Checkout the website: LIFETIME FITNESS

I would be interested.

I used to work out at the Troy location when I lived in Royal Oak, but stoped going when I moved to New Baltimore. There really nice places.

QUOTE(RED HOT ONE @ Nov 11 2003, 09:37 AM)Do they serve beer and pizza there??????

They do have "party rooms" available, but I think something might be said when we start bringing the kegs in.

QUOTE(The Sweetest Thing @ Nov 11 2003, 10:05 AM)I would be interested to find out what the discount would consist of. However, when discussing the discount could we try to ensure that we can use ANY Lifetime Fitness?

I will put that I my list of DEMANDS!

QUOTE(HazyMemory @ Nov 11 2003, 09:55 AM)I have been banished from lifetime for about 2 years now.

I'm sure if you joined w/our group, and we PROMISED LIFETIME to keep you AWAY from the day-care center, they would probably let you in.

Steve if you have it handled cool, otherwise I have an inside track there and would be happy to talk to my contacts to see what they would be willing to offer.

If interested email me directly.

I will be there from about 6 to 10 tonight (every Tuesday).

Any peeps working out on Tuesday drop in on the volleyball in the gym and say hello, I will be reffing.

If you are interested in playing, a new league will be starting in a few weeks.

Not sure about the "current" downpayment system but I pay $50 a month right now. If I wanted to upgrade to a sports membership which would gain my access to the Rochester club it would be $60 a month.

I was thinking about quitting there and going over to worlds gym where all my friends work out not to mention it's about 10 miles closer to my house. Than maybe.....a big maybe I would be more motivated to work out.

Instigator,
I would 0be interested in a free preview day. The only reason that I don't work out there now, is because of how much money they want. I have a gym here at GM and it's free. It's not as nice a sPowerHouse or Lifetime, but free. Thats nice.

Steve,
Let me know where this is going.

Karen and I are planning on checking out the Rochester location on Saturday. We will most likely join with or without the LSCN group discount you are pursuing...but the discount sure would be nice.

BigDaddy,
who do you know and how can you help us get a discount?

On their website you can get a free week pass. They list all the classes and everything. Thinking of checking it out for a week getting burned out at my gym...I'm sick of doing the spinning class all by myself. Just not alot of people working out at 9:30 in the morning!

that seems like soooo much money for a gym membership around $900 a year. But I guess they have all that stuff like childcare pools and other things I would never use. It seems like it would be ideal for a family with kids so they get use out of it

I got a deal on my original sign up fee back when I joined there about 3 years ago. I now pay $59.95 per month for a Sports Membership that gives access to all the clubs, as well as discounts on stuff like skiing, golf, etc. If there is a discount available for the monthly fee please let me know.
