I want to say thanks to the many peeps that have offered an invite to me to join them on their boats during this season.(yes, I am one of those boat-less members) My weekend work hours almost make it impossible for me to take you up on it though <_<

I would now like to extend an invitation to the peeps to come out and try one of my passions, trap & skeet shooting. On Tuesday, August 24, around 6:00 PM I will open up the trap and skeet fields at Gilbert's Sportsmen's club and we can have the place all to ourselves.

A lot of the peeps have asked me about coming out for a shoot, so this is your chance. Budcouch and tripdog are two of the LSCN peeps that participate in our summer league so I'm sure they'll join us too.

If you've never shot a gun before, I'll hook you up with a free lesson.

After the shooting is done, we'll open up the bar and brag (or cry) about our scores.

I loved skeet shooting last time I did it...my right shoulder was damn sore from taking the brunt of the blow every time I fired the gun, but it was fun!!!

Man I wish I could make it. I will be travling to Lake of the Ozards that day. I have a 870 pump I have never used. Iam just waitng to try it out. I have always had semi-auto before this. Maybe we can do this another time again

I'm sure we can do it more than just this once. We still have a few shoots left in our tuesday league if you want to come out. You don't have to join the league to shoot.

There are only 2 shoots left. Tuesdays starting around 5:30ish.

Need a head count. The date is Tuesday, August 24 starting around 5:30 PM. Gilbert's is located on Omo Rd. just south of 28 mile in Ray Twp.
If you know your going for sure, please let me know. You don't have to rsvp to come out but it helps so I can get some help from other members if needed. Everyone is welcome, we'll have extra guns, and plenty of shells! The bar will open when the shooting is done. I'll even try talking our kitchen chairman into opening up the kitchen for dinner.

man that sounds like a blast...I was Junior state champion skeet and trap, in 1999. I am a member at NSMC north macomb sportsman club. I have never heard of this place you are talking about, but I would like some more info. who can I contact?
