Lure question

I feel silly for asking this but, what is an Erie chugger (hope thats right) and does anyone have a picture? Is that a slang name? Anyone?

nope those are not it, i have those. i was thinking J-plug possibly? Im on a mission now. exclusive to lake Erie looks like.

Storm does make a Chug Bug & a rattlin version as well. They are poppers.



A guy on another fishing site claims that he uses the chug bugs on a 3-way rig in the DR for walleye & does good on them but other guys say he's full of chit.

Never heard of it as a specific lure Jackie. Zib's answer is what I thought of first though.
Chuggers and poppers are pretty much the same thing, what you call them depends on where you come from.

That's right.
Where I come from chuggers are hand lines you bounce up and down for Walleye and Poppers are Jalopeno and cheese filled fried snacks.
