The rain's here now. Got any of that popcorn left? Actually, it sounds like most of the thunder has moved off, so I'm gonna go back to bed.

Thunder and lightning woke me for a minute. Didn't hear any rain.

Thunder woke me several times too. The second time it happened, I flicked on the TV expecting to see a thunderstorm warning or tornado watch - but nothing. I woke up around 4am again, looked outside, and the sidewalk and drive were dry already. That, I can't figure out. It poured pretty good.

It thundered and rained hard enuf in Rottenchester that it woke me up! In my semi-sleep filled state, something in my mind said "holy sheot! the windows in my turck are open!" You see, I'm using my garage as a workrshop to replace some sidining on my house, and the truck is always in the garage.

So, still half asleep, I run out in my unmentionables only to find out that the windows are closed. Now thoroughly awake, and soaked, I went back into the house wet and WIDE awake! Talk about a bad dream!!
