OK, We all know now Martha Stewart is convicted felon.
And her shows have been yanked off the air.
I am asking what is the difference with her show to FCC and producers, say to NBA, NFL, MLB Games?
We all know and have heard all the problems. criminals, convicts and down outride degenerate activities some NBA,NFL,MLB players have done.
Drug addicts, Cocaine, crack, hookers, murder, shootings, gangster-hood type activity. Why is that promoted in the ranks of professional sports, and Martha tewart is paying a more severe penalty than any of the athletes who clearly are more criminal and dangerous than her??

Major problem wth Martha is she is a little stuck on herself and thinks she is better than the rest of us.

Bottom Line,

She claims she did nothing wrong, then why did she lie to the FBI, the Securities Comission, Erase her computer files (though she did not do that properly), and lie to everyone else to cover something up, if she claims "I did nothing wrong".

I am glad they are now coming down on people like this. My father and many like ours have IRA's and such that they invest in to survive. And these pricks who get all this inside information take money from the common folk. I say make an example out of her, the Enron exec's and others like this.

I could steal a few hundred from bouncing checks and get more time then these individuals stealing Hundreds of Millions off of people like my father and yours.

They are too greedy and a Strong example needs to be set for people like this. They are the Elite of societly and think they should be treated like royalty regardless of who they hurt.

I can name hundreds of examples of Corporate exec's Bilking millions upon millions out of the working class and only getting a slap on the wrist.

I say lock her up put her on the chain gang digging ditches for the next 5 years, and maybe the next prick who has a 20 million dollar house, private Yacht's, planes, ect. will think twice when they decide to defraud the American public out of our fathers, grandfathers, and our retirement funds.

The problems with the Athletes and the Ganster Rap is a screwed up situation. It is a basic microcism of what is wrong with urban America.

Bottom line is people are allowed free speech and what not, although I do agree of the networks having 10 second tape delays to block out vulgar language. I think Howard Stern and some of these other celebrities that exploit people and violence are Scumbags. Howard has made a living off of degrading women, mentally challanged people and others. But I also believe in his right of free speech, and it is up to us as parents to make sure are kids understand this is complete garbage.

Main problem is in Urban America is that most of their role models are gangsters, and such. They have NO family values, ect. Mother nature and Genetics made it so that we need both a Mother and a Father growing up.

Just look at what the NAACP did recently, During black history month they named R. Kelly "man of the year". R. Kelly has 21 charges of pornography and there are films of him allegedly having sex with a 13 year old girl. What kind of fricking example is that.

But I think in general most of the Athletes do a lot of good. Most come from an Urban life, and if you look at the hundreds or close to thousand or so Athletes who came from poverty, only a fraction get into trouble. And that is a much better statistic which is that clost to 40% of African American's who live in poverty end up in jail or on probation. I think sometimes their money gets to their heads, and think all athletes should go to a seminar each year (especially the rookies) for the psychlogical problems that may occur with the money.

And what I fear is the worst problem in America with the Urban culture is "It is cool to have babies out of wedlock and with different woman". Young kids in the ghetto do not believe in birth control, and it is like a status symbol to have a few different kids from different mothers. Whereas in the Suburbs, this is a Very rare event. How many pregnant girls do you remember in High School, only a couple, and they were silently looked down upon.

Words of advise, Spend time with your children, and make sure you stay on top of them in a good way, and listen to their opinions. I will with my daughter.
