Those calm winds suck for fishing, especially with the high temps.
Less wind means the bugs will be bad as well.

Ive been out the past three days and it doesnt take long before the heat starts making you go bonkers and just about forces you to jump in to cool off. TONS of fish fly larva and weeds floating all over the lake.

Windless day yesterday sucked. The bugs were only bad until around 10 though, and then they went away. Calm waters and clear skies are great if you want to go tubing! I'd take a 10-15 knot breeze with partly cloudy to overcast skies any day over one of these Blue Bird days.

Will be great for FIREWORKS though!
