Here's the story....
One man was missing and another was arrested after a boating accident in Anchor Bay on Friday evening.
Divers called off the search for the missing man at dark, and planned to begin a recovery operation today, Macomb County Sheriff Mark Hackel said.
The driver of the boat, who was rescued, was arrested for operating the boat while intoxicated, police said.
The boat operator, a man in his 40s from Chesterfield Township, was speeding across choppy waters in Anchor Bay when he hit the wake of another boat, police said. All six on the boat were thrown into the water; five were rescued by passing boaters.
A Breathalyzer test showed the boat operator's "limit for alcohol was well over the legal limit," Hackel said.
Police said they were not releasing the name of the missing man until they could notify his family, a task made more difficult because the rescued passengers -- two teenage boys, two men and one woman -- are not sure of the man's identity, Hackel said. By Tamara Audi
