#1 Musky bait of all time.........Crawler Harness!
Took 2 in 30 minutes today going 1.5 mph while dragging harnesses for walleyes. First one was about 40", no big deal, no pic. Second one was a whole different animal. Not a 50" fish, but I am guessing 46"-47". No tape measure big enough. No net big enough. Hand landed both fish. No cuts on me or fish. Both fish very healthy. The big one was incredibly thick.
Oh man great fish. I need a few motrin tonight, casting bucktails all day in the bay and had one follow, arms gonna fall off. Seeing your pic of that fish makes me want to get out and do it all over tomorrow------I think
:lol:lol !!! That's musky fishing. Cast for days and then go walleye fish and grumble because now you have a 25# fish on and it's gonna be a while before you get him in. Oh and then the buddy says, uh - that things not gonna fit in our net.... One nice thing about grabbing them though, they don't get chewed up in the net. If you have the stones to do it and the hooks are in a safe place, it's easy on the fish.

Try throwin a Magnum bull dawg jerk bait style in the SCR. That'll make ya hurt! arthiritis, bursitis, carpel tunnel.... you think you have it all by the end of it.

I guess I need to start fishing for walleye to catch muskie, nice job on the harness. We were out today and got one 30inch pike and one 33 inch ski in 5 hours of muskie trolling on US side.
BOY, that makes 2 guys in a week that both catch 2 40'+ fish trolling crawler harnesses in 17-18' of water. Looks like I should pickup a couple dozen crawlers next time out and hit the deep water...................My luck I would catch the wallys
!!!!!!!!!! U better take that new muskie rod next time U go walleye fishing.................
