Started fishing with Junkster around 8am. first fish at 915. another 5 minutes later. we saw a few nice fish. had 6 in the boat by 230 couple bigger follows. 40" lost at the boat.21" 5lb 2oz smallmouth. then action shut off til about 9 when we had a few follows and caught one more. 7 total musky and 4 bass. nothing big. 37.5 was the biggest and 2 at 34 couple more around 30. and couple smaller all fish were caught 7-9 feet firetiger bucktails...... not a bad day. wish we would have hooked into something bigger. Junkster was also giving me a hard time about the smallmouth he says he caught it because it did a jump at the boat and he reached out and grabbed it with the net. what do you think?

We also stopped in Anglers point. they have some nice musky lures in there. If anyone needs any be sure to check it out. Bucktails, topwater, and some other baits.

Thanks AlexG and Zib for the extreme net man award and the assist! When the bass jumpped it through the bucktail so when I caught it with the net it was nolonger attached to the hook. I thought there might be a technicallity there.

Just wish you would have been the extreme net man on the bigger musky that did a back flip at the boat..instead you pick the smallmouth?

Sounds like an awesome, albeit LONG, day! Great looking fish, that smallie is huge... and I also say an extreme net man assist award is in order, good teamwork.

Spinnerbait, you don't look too happy in the pics dude - I'd be grinning like a cheshire cat if I caught fish like that! Remember the old saying... a bad day fishing is better than _________________ (fill in the blank). lol

Nice job guys.
