Took my son out fishing this morning. We were just south of the Clinton river in 9' FOW. I was tossing out a small crank bait abot 2". The line got wrapped around a hook. I was burning it across the top of the water to keep the line from twisting. The bait was bouncing on top of the chop on the way in. I just get it back to the boat and lifted it out of the water. Right behind it a big thick 50" plus Musky just under the surface was following it. My son was up in the bow with me at the time and it scared him. He didn't know there was anything out there that big. The fish was so big and close you could see every little detail. Its the biggest one I have ever seen. It was great to see the look on my boys face.

I saw the world record Bob, but it wasnt in Anchor Bay.....the thing was HUGE! Had to be 55-60" long in 3 ft of water on a sand break. Clear as anything....we didnt spook it...it seemed to snicker at us as it lazily swam off.
