my 17 yr old....
since I'm in a good mood today she thought she'd give it a try-
she asked for a Bud Light out of the fridge....I said NO- she then asks for a Sharp's. I said SURE...then she read it and said "why in the world would anybody drink non-alcholic beer....it's taste so bad in the first place....so what's the point?"
I explained that some people drink it for the taste......
she's still doesn't get it

sit down do shots with her, tequila, and she will not want to drink again through high school, make sure she drinks enough to vomit for a good 3-4 hours

My daughter & her friend enjoyed that experience on their own. They hit the liquor cabinet last fall! Came home to them giggling in her room. She came out looking like Hell . . . said I don't feel good. Then, proceeded to projectile vomit!!
I put a lock on STEVE's BAR after that, but haven't needed to keep it locked. She hasn't even HINTED at wanting a drink. Every time I have a beer near her, she cringes!

she used to break into the Boone's Farm all the time- so I stopped buying it-
I just happened to have beer left over from the weekend.
(opps- can't believe I just admitted to having beer left over after coming the moot) I guess I'm a light weight
