Id like to have a cam under out boathouse....as it is there's a wide variety of fish that seem to hang there...perhaps they feel protected ? I dunno...but on any given day it's like looking into an aquarium.
pretty kewl.

This camera is located at the dam on the St. Marys in Sault St. Marie. At different times of the year you see a different variety of fish. I think Michigan is THE BEST state when it comes to natural resources.

Thanks to Lake Superior State University for the camera.

Big Dog, Even though you can't fish near the dam, it's a good deal to watch to see if the fish are movin'.

Most of those fish are Atlantic Salmon. Atlantics are fairly rare to the great lakes and due to stocking programs by LSSU this area is one of the few spots in Michigan where you can find good numbers of these fish. These fish are currently on their spawning migration and will move all the way through the St. Marys system though most fish will do their thing right there at the Edison plant. A true trophy as far as Great Lakes Salmon go.....
