Hello, My family and I are coming up from Ky the first week of July. I think we will be launching our boat at DeerBrook Marina. My question is where can we find decent lodging for the week close to this area and how should we fish? We will be after smallmouth. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, what documentation will we need to get back and forth across the border?

Deerbrook Marine is off the Ruscom River in Ontario, Canada. Might get a bit more info if you post your question on the message boards at www.basshavencanada.com.

I believe they have cottages at Deerbrook (www.deerbrookmarina.com), but I don't recall any really close by motels, tho I believe there are some in nearby Belle River.
