The people who go fishing at night with all the fish flies... How do you keep them from bothering you at night? Is there a spray or anything I can use to keep them from driving me insane? Or any tips for night fishing would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I was out Friday night & didn't have any Mayflies by me. There were other bugs that were attracted to my lantern so I turned it off.

yes it eventually ends unfortunately. but the hatches do seem to come later and later for a bug thats called mayfly there a little late. i think the clearer water has alot to do with it clear water warms slower then dirty. also fish shallower and nights with offshore winds will help greatly ive been swarmed in 15 ft and not a bug when moved into 12

The little flies Im getting swarmed by are green little things
I do not know what they are called. I was getting swarmed with white ones last week.

Well then I guess we shouldn't use them for dessert with the chocolate and roasting process.

Yes it is when I used to live up north on the manistee river we used to wait for the fly hatch. The monster trout come out during the hatch not sure how well it works on a lake but man did we get some monster trout during the hatch.
