My boat is at Sassy and will launch April 23rd. Taking the boat to Jefferson Beach Marina. Question--Will the Red/Green be in the water by then to guide to the lake. I'll really mess up if there not in. Thanks---

I would think they would be in by the first of April? Not sure.

I Was out on April 26th last year and the North and Middle Channel markers were NOT in yet. Be careful. At the worse, you could always head up the South Channel and head back down the North Channel at Algonac. I tried to shoot the middle channel last year without the markers and I'm amazed I didn't run ground. It's damn shallow out there. I wouldn't try it with anything that has much more than a foot of draft at speed.

I agree with Bayley. They most likely won't have the markers out that early and getting outside of the unmarked channel will be a big problem. That's why I like winter storing some what close to my summer marina.
