I showed my fiance how to use my computer and now she wants to take over here. She just signed herself up for a screen name to become a member. Too bad we share the same comp. So she might not get to log in as much Plus she has to go to work so I will still be on here most of the time.

And trying to get him off this computer is a hassle. All he does is sit here and read and respond. So I joined so I can give my opinion on things and hear what the lady's that fish have to say.

Yeah maybe I can get her to actually fish now. She enjoys being on the boat but she won't fish off from it.

Looks like we are starting to get more womanses here. Not a bad thing, not a bad thing at all! he more active people we have in the community the better.

Wow I know what that is like!
Welcome to the forums! Now next step is to get pretty sparkly lures and fish!
I just started back into fishing myself. I used to go on the Detroit river with my dad when I was younger to walleye fish with just a worm and a sinker.
Jason(heimskr) got me into again. At first I didn't really care about going because it was boring especially just using a sinker and a worm in nothing but weed beds (and I had vertigo which is now fixed thanks to special glasses which is another story) Then a week or so ago jason put on these interchangable hook thingies that I could change the bait myself without buggin him. I tried the casting method and now I am addicted. I even took off my first fish by myself (using fish gloves) He or she was a cute little large mouth bass.
It feels rewarding to do the work, get the fish, call him or her the cutest thing ever (little ego boost for my newest friend)and then toss him or her back.

On a more lady like note! You get to pick out a tackle box , get pretty and all different kinds of fishie lures and can even get matching accessories. Its almost like a closet but for fish!

Now if I could get my wife out of the sportsmans forum, I got her ice fishing this year, and soft water fishing a bit, but she is all duck hunter at heart. Maybe one day

Thank you all. I never was a fishing person I was born in poland and we never really did much fishing. And if scott has his way we won't be til he redoes another boat. He is selling my baby recession proof and going to get a bigger boat. He re did the boat and took it out a couple of times got it tuned in and now he is selling her. So he can have another project. Oh well its his toy I guess he can do with it what he wants. As long as I get to go out on the water I don't care what it is in.
