I see it so many times....I check the users online and there are WAY too many guests unregistered just looking or lurking....

Please take the time to register and if you can, make a post. Let the world hear your opinions, facts, stories and fishing tales. It really does help us all out and you will not be charged anything nor will you receive unsolicitated email from this site.

It will help this site maintain what we have going by getting sponsors to pay for this instead of the guys that own it.

Not only that, you may be eligible for cool prizes and stuff!

That goes for all you fols out there. Register, post, show up to some of the parties....I am sick of being the only fishing guy there except Mac and Basstrap!

John, I'm a new member and a long time tournament fisherman in South East Michigan. My tournament days go back when we launched out of the old Chris Craft Marina and fished the Monkey Box. You mentioned parties and get togethers. when and where is the next one? I'd like to meet some of the new breed and catch-up on whats happening today in regards to fishing Michigan Tournaments. I have read all the postings here and have been impressed with the quality and knowledge that you and your fellow anglers have a massed. Best of luck this year and I look forward to seeing you at one of the parties or a weighin on the lake.

OzoneMaker,

I was wondering when you would come out of the woodwork and join us. Welcome aboard!

Dave: It's been such along time since I have even talked tournament fishing I wouldn't even know where to start! As I read these posts I can sense the passion & love today's anglers now share for their sport. I truly miss the days when I was competing and now accept the fact the sport has properly passed me by. I feel I could really live up to my nickname now "Dink Decker". As a side note I can remember Doug from the old Tri-State circuit, I doubt though if he would remember me. I do remember he ran the best tournaments you could ever ask for on the big waters. I think that dates back to the early '90s' or even late '80s'. I look forward to following you guys on this web site. If your ever looking for some ballast on the stern give me call.

Good - Luck

OzoneMaker,

You are right about Doug, he's the best.

Heck, you've probably forgotten more than a lot of us ever knew about this game. There's always room in my boat for you. (Someone has to sore mouth those little ones so I can catch the big ones.
)

Regards,

Dave

Hello all,
I stumbled uponthis site today - looks great I have been tournament fishing in the MIdwest for about 17 years now. It is a pleasure to find somewhere where ideas can be shared ( some the day after the tourney - lol)
first tourney St Clair is BFL on Saturday - we see how the year goes.
By the way we have two small club tourneys out there too ( Sunday 6-29 & 8-24)
and our classic usually draws a day on the pond.

Tight lines to all

and jerkbaits can catch the big smallies out there too don't forget about the cruisers and drag tubes all day.
Workingman is back! To busy working, building and moving (not enough fishing). I've been browsing for awhile and I think that this is one of the best sites to spend time on.
Hi I'm new here ,and I hope to learn alot(I need the help)

Hello, I'm new to this site, just happened along it doing some research on the St Clair River and Lake St Clair for an upcoming club tournament. My 1st time on the river was yesterday WOW! What a fisherie.
Okay Mini, I just completed lurkers' anon program and graduated to LSCN member status. Thanks for the shove and send some wally's my way please.

Not much luck on lake last week; hoping to get on the river this week for further pursuits. Thanks to all for fishing reports and topics; looking forward to more good reads and hints.

Hey John,
I've been a lurker and admirer of this site for awhile, but it's time for me to come over from the dark side. Actually, I'm president of a local club (talked to you about your accident outside Gino's the night of the state championship banquet) and registered so I could weigh in on the debate about the upcoming BPS/GNT tourney. Our clubs are starting to get bashed, gotta run over there and straighten a few people out!
OK OK I'm a member now! and I'm looking forward to talking to you all.
oops, sorry about the big pic guys. How do add it to my name on the left side?

...I got it now
