Jetted over to MacRays last night only to find JasonR and Tango7 drinking at the boat. So, I had to stop and join them in the drink fest. Only two cocktails into the night I decided to slip on the swim platform of the jet boat and fall completely in the water. DRINK AND ALL!!!

Only to realize that my sun glasses were on my head and now are gone. But, I still had my drink in my hand. It had a top on it and was still intact. I still chose to dump it and pour another though. The folks across the canal were laughing and guess what Tango, Jason, Steph, and Katie were laughing. Go figure.

Thanks to Jason for the dry shirt!

In 20 years I have only bought one case.

Wait a minute..... I am the one who fell in and was laughed at. They should buy me a bottle of Jack!!

I disagree, you should definitely be the one buying the beer. We didn't push you in. Besides, when you fell in you got my boat wet.
That alone deserves a case of beer.

Man, I took a really painful swim on Tuesday this way. I had a couple hours with nothing to do near Harrison Twp. so I went to the marina to play around on the boat. A friend had to sign a contract for something with me so he stopped by. I was standing on the dock and telling him that it was on my seat to just sign it, and mindlessly took a step backwards right over open air??? Fell between the neighbors boat and my dock, have wicked bruises and scrapes all over from the way in, and seriously think I tore my rotator cuff as I have no range of motion in my left shoulder. I was knee deep in really gross weeds and muck that I could not get out of for a minute and up to my eyes in water. All I could think of when I was swimming under the dock to the back of my boat to climb up the ladder was that a huge snapping turtle was going to enjoy the fresh bloody hamburger I had hanging everywhere. All I could think of when I got up on my boat was how I wished someone had a camera going to win for sure on America's Funniest Home Videos.

When I start talking business stuff I really blank out everything else, for a second I don't think I had any concept that I was on a dock and maybe shouldn't arbitrarily step backward. Worst part is that I wasn't even drinking, but I was soon after that!

It sounds like you know the exact spot you fell in. I have an aqua-vu underwater camera you could use. It has 100 feet of cable, a monitor, and 13 led lights to illuminate the area the underwater camera is ciewing. PM me if you want to borrow it. It will cost you jack and cokes though.

When we redid the restaurant at MacRays, we also added more parking lot. We pounded in the steel, and pumped out all the water only to fill it back up again with slurry pumped into large bags. Between pumping it out and filling it up, we found all kinds of treasures. Every day after work, I would go searching the newly uncovered bottom. You would be amazed at what people drop in the water. I spent alot of time wondering if they even bothered looking for what was missing.

Don't forget Eddie Bauer the first weekend in January when him and I were duck hunting.
