Anyone know what to do with flares that have gone passed there use date? I'd set them off out on the lake, but then I figure the Coasties would come running and I'd have to pay for a false call out or something stupid like that.

Do you have a friend that has a fire pit? I have one in my back yard, and I use them to start fires. Get's a nice fire going real fast! I hope I never have to light one up out on the lake. I would probably burn my boat down. They burn Hot!

Spider,

If I bump into you sometime, I can take them off your hands. I'm a part-time Coastie stationed right off Jefferson. We take our old pyro gear and light it off the back seawall. Otherwise you may be able to just drop them off at a nearby Fire Dept. or Coastie Station.

Anyone in the arae of New Baltimore, can drop them off at the fire station, on Green Street, on a Tuesday night between 7pm and 9pm. We will see that they get disposed of.
