While we're waiting for the ice to break up I know that we can't be too far from the sucker run up in Omer. I've talked to a few of you about it on this board before, does anyone know if that will be a little later this year because of the weather? Also, I've only had the pleasure of talking to a few of you on this board. I'd love to meet a few of you in person there. Maybe we can toss down a beer or two...

The run is getting close. I have only encountered it a couple times. Up north in the Carp river, they follow the steelhead in and feast on the eggs. I've seen the run so good the bottom was nothing but suckers. I've also caught my share in the Clinton River off Cass ave behind the rose nursery there.
