fish tremble knows Nothing better than Chinook on lite tackle. Oh my the battle if you didn't say chinook you must of not caught one on lite tackle yet. Just line rippin, hold onin, nothing is better than a chinook salmon the freshwater KING. Anchored in the harbor and casting lite stuff, just unbelievable, Now that's what i'm talking about small boat anchored, casting, and catchin them that way nothing is finer.

h2o<--can't wait till late sept, and oct. in sanilac harbor.

I`m with Musky Bob on this one. I want a Muskie like my oldest brother caught on the Moon River of Georgian Bay. 78 lbs, 64 inches, successfully released.

You got that right H20! For us it is the first week of September anchored out in Lake Michigan in front of Lake Charlevoix. 8 foot rods spooled with 8lb. test in the dark of night. Have never seen more than 5 boats at night out there usually everyone just trolls all day so when they are coming in we are heading out. Just keep casting and flashing loco spoons until the schools move in. We have taken fish to 30lbs. where we have to lift the anchor and wear the fish out by letting it pull the boat around the harbor and have had fish that just run the 220 yards of line to the knot and then gone. What a blast!!

How about a 71 inch musky with a 71 inch smallmouth in his mouth. Looks like I've got you both beat. By the way, I didn't know the moon river had whales in it. What a fish!
