Our fishing trip

me and my brother (brutus54) will be leaving in a few hours to head up for our yearly fishing trip to lake st clair... we will be in a 19.5" brown and gold procraft with ohio tags.. if you all see us out give us a yell.. i will be bringing my laptop along and hopefully i will update you all after everyday.. we will be staying till sunday... good luck to all fisherman.......

Hope you brought your rain gear! I was not aware we were going to get this precip., but we needed some of it around my place for sure.

SRT I'll be out tomorrow with or without passengers. Let me know if you get any prices for depth finders. I NEED to put one in this weekend (I work Saturday and Sunday) though. I see a good price at Dicks that I might have to take advantage of before it goes off sale Sunday. I'll be coming out of Salt River around 8ish depending what happens tonight (Ggotta use Thursday nights as my weekends since I work the actual weekend).

Not quite sure what I'll be fishing for, but will have a variety of poles and tackle (JUST NO DEPTH FINDER!
)

I'll be in a 23 foot center console with a cabin. Might have the lab with me if I don't get a hold of any interested friends.

well we made it up here... will be hitting the water bright and early... around 6 or 7 am.... will be launching from 9 mile ramp... thanks to all that replied will post some pics from the day tom when we get back......... hope to see you all out there...

Hi Sweetsrt!

I'll be out tomorrow as well in an 18 foot Trophy Walkaround. Probably just me and my dog so i'll look for you and mitrkyhunter. I keep my boat on the Clinton River so I may be a bit north of you, depending on where you fish. Good luck and I hope to see you on the water!

we has a great time will be posting pics very soon..(after i unpack everything lol...) cant wait to come back up in a few months the fishermen and fisherwomen who live close to this lake is so lucky... if only we had a lake of this caliber in southern ohio...

Alum Creek Lake by Columbus has a tremendous muskie fishery established. A few weeks ago, the bass fishermen were catching 2-3 muskies a day just casting crankbaits and spinnerbaits. A lot of the fish were pushing 40". You should try that lake one day if you can't make the trip all the way up here. Cave Run in KY has some fish as well and is a beautiful lake.
