Can anyone recomend someone to service a Volvo outdrive over the winter? I went to drain the oil out for the winter and there was no oil in it, just water!
bend over and get ready to be f'ed, that much water in the outdrive will cost you $$$, most of the internal parts will probably be corroded or start to rust and need replacement, doh.......
I'm wondering what this is going to cost me. In Canada, I can get a complete top and bottom rebuild for about $1,400 US or just the top or bottom for $850. Will have to wait and see what kind of damage has been done to mine.
Are there any good work at home mechanics who would want to mess with it over winter?
just a suggestion but if you hit something and thats reason water is in there insurance will cover it mine did AAA. i took to dock box at emerald city...
