just woke up bored to death. started feeling bad christmas eve. went to my dads. half way through the evening i felt so bad i had to go to doctor. i was burning up and shivering at the same time. i usually never go to the doctor, this time i had too. took me in and kept me there half the night. temp was over 103 and heart rate was 145. i just could not stop shaking. they were nervous because my dad just had heart trouble and some surgery done in the last year. they would not let me go. i felt like a frigging dart board. but they were great there at henry ford on 15 mile west of ryan. great care. they had a lab open right there on christmas eve. i had to wait a while for all results but everything came back good. spent christmas with my dog and now i am bored to death. fever is down now, i hope it stays that way.

The next morning, I was FINE! Very strange . . .

Sorry to hear that you're sick bra!!! Do you think it was the flu or still is. I already had the flu twice this year and man it's going around. Take care of yourself Dave!! Your health is the most important priority.

That's what got me friday after christmas. One minute sweating, the next shivering.

Dave, glad you are doing better....Dang nasty bug <_< That is scary....I had those real high fevers a couple of months ago, they said it was from my sinus infection, like 102.7. Temps like that happen in kids, but, in adults it can be dangerous. You did the right thing going to the doc...15/Ryan is great place, it's been our drs. for years. Your elevated heart rate was probably from the high fever.
