Mini, thanks for posting the picture, the fish is going to the taxidermist tonight. $180 OUCH!!!!

I agree,...$180 is waaayyy too much!!...The last time I checked their rates it was @ $6-7 per inch...that perch shouldn't cost more than @ $100-120 MAX!!!!......shop around!!

Because perch, bluegill and other smaller fish are so small, most taxidermists charge a flat rate for them instead of a per inch charge like they do for larger game fish. It's the only way they can get payed for their time.

That's exactly what I was told, we have 2 hugies to be mounted and after this weekend who knows, maybe we will have a stringer mount. (6-8 jumbos) . ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~><> AL
