fished red can 22 last night for about two hours. 18 fow, big emeralds, spreaders and perch pounders. 35 perch, all in the 10 to 12 inch range taken home. Biggest was 13". first hour was slow, 2nd was fast. did weed through about 20 the first hour. fished 7 pm to 9 pm. Didn't run into any other species.

I heard the cans on each side of the light have been producing.

good luck

bob-o,

you need to get a chart. They show the channel marker numbers. 22 is about straight out from 9 mile.

hi, i am new to this site and fairly new to fishing on st. clair. looking to get some good perch fishing in, any tips for a newbee? I have read alot of posts, how do I find the st clair light?
when anyone mentions "the Light" they are usually refering to the St Clair Light. It is the green channel marker in the middle of the lake. How to find it; you can see it on a clear day looking out from the mile roads. It looks like a small light house.

(post for new guys)

good luck

St clair light? Straight out from 9 & 10 mile road 6 miles out, cant miss it
Great report Woody, were you catching many on the perch pounders themselves or just on the spreader rigs? Enjoy that pile of gold. How were the skeeters they were terrible by the south channel as soon as it started getting dark.
How did you guys rig your perch pounders. I bought a couple from RJT and havent tried them yet.
