The boat looks great, but pics of boats on a hoist over pavement always make me nervous. You just gotta love a 40' Sunsport with thru hulls...

All, thanks for the comments. I didn't like the boat just hanging over the pavement..kept on thinking a sling would snap. That's what insurance is for.

Convincor...Bravo 3's worked great. Actually I had the outdrives upgraded to 2003 Bravo 3 X's for $3K. Split difference with seller. The regular drives were failing with the high HP and weight of the boat.

Boat ran 53 mph in the North Channel yesterday with me, some gear and full load of gas. About 20 mph slower than old boat. I might need to add some whipple charges next year which should give me 600 + horsepower. Raypanic did it on his 38 PQ.
