Ok, I have been to see Buffett many times and we always get their early for a little pre-gaming (around 11:30). I have never had a problem getting into the parking lot early. Now I'm being told that the gates do not open until 3:30-4. I've tried to call DTE with no answer.

Does anybody know if this is true??

The parking lot will open two hours prior to the show start time for matinees.
Guests are allowed to tailgate/picnic before events.
Alcohol is not allowed in the parking lot due to local township ordinances.

Admission to parking lot is pre-paid with $3 per ticket fee.
There will be a $5 per ticket fee for MyCompanyOffer and voucher redemption.
The parking lot opens at 4:30 PM for most evening shows.
The parking lot will open 2 hours prior to the show start for all matinees.
Guests are allowed to tailgate/picnic before events.
Designated specific drop-off/pick-up area for guests in Parents Park between Main East and West gates.

Have fun.. I guess Mary and I wont be going. Some one promised my Wife a couple tickets up until a week or so a go than just blew her off. I would have went out and started looking if I knew this was going to happen.
