I know the owner Jim was a jerk and I stopped going a long time ago, but did not know they were protesting him as a rapist.

Mothers and Dads, keep your young girls away from this clown.

whats the story on this? do we actually know he is a rapist??? and if so why hasnt it been on the news...or did i miss that? seems like there would be a little more talk and maybe an arrest made if this was the truth....anyone?
I have some choice words to say about that a$$hole. I'm not going into details, but all I have to tell people is stay away from that place and guy. He's trouble and probably being watched by the police for other things, too.
That place had a strange vibe about it the couple times I was there.
well just walking into that bar once will tell ya never to go back! i got pushed through the door by the drunk bouncer for absolutly no reason whatsoever one night and i kinda threw a bit of a fit....then some skinny SCS cop who hangs out there all the time came out and pushed my buddy and pulled out his badge. lol i was a little drunk and told him i didnt care if he was the chief of police that he had better put his badge away before he gets his a$$ kicked...lol im really not much of a fighter but i dont like people messin with me...or my friends for that matter....jimmy told me i wasnt welcome at his bar anymore and i said well you bar sucks jimmy. lol i think it is a funny story...not one that i was proud of the next morning but hey i think we have all been there...anyways...anyone know the whole true story about this crap? he does seem a little shaddy

Not at all. I dont mind it if its nice to look at. If its some old wrinkly 70 year old lady in a school girl outfit, then I get kinda grossed out

And I really like Blue Gooses fish and chips. Awesome.

I am not supporting or defending anyone I don't know the owner or place in question but convicting someone on an internet forum is probablly not a good idea.

Since when do protesters get to try and convict someone?

Matt
Soooo, what's the story? Who did he allegedly rape?
On 89x this morning, people were calling in with their weird sexual fantasies and you wouldnt believe all the women calling in saying that it was their fantasy to be raped! I was like... whoa. Crazy people out there...
Saw the protestors out there last night but had no idea who they were protesting about. I'm sure the owner is not too happy about this type of publicity but all women should be forwarned. I tried to look up "The Plaid Rabbit" on Michigan's Business Entity Search but came up with nothing. Was curious what this guys name is. Wanted to see if I could out anything about him. He can't have a criminal background or they would never issue him a liquor license.

My thoughts exactly.

How are we convicting him? I was just reporting on it. Let the comments or stories speak for them self.
Hmmmm, I see protests everywhere.
Could of started from a disgruntaled employee or a complete fabircation.
OR it could have some merit.
If you dont lilke the place then don't go there, but to start throwing out rapist with out substantial criminal evidence to support it seems wrong.
If you know something you should be at the SCS police dept. filing a report not here because those are some very serious allegations.

i agree

there are two sides to every story, if there even is a story

anyone can get a lynch mob together and fabricate some story and ruin someone

i would be careful because there are only 2 people that really know the actual truth, the accused, and the accuser, the others are basing their decisions on their relationships with these people and what they have been told

if it were me, and the story turned out to be false, or i was actually found not guilty in a court of law, i would have pictures of everyone who picketed in front of my bar and take them in a civil suit for all they are worth for defamation and loss of business....

I would like the story because I do like the place ocasionally and the owner was always decent in my book. I'll have to wait till Thursday to hear from my golfer friends that hang there.
