I'd like some feedback on any experiences with plastic collapsable planer boards. I like my big wooden ones but want something I can store and use in mild conditions. I had a set of Rivieras years ago, but there are some new ones out. Fishing for walleye and musky.

I tried rivieras, they kept porpoising at musky speeds. They work ok for walleye. I should added some weight in the back. I also tried the big otter boats, these work great as long as there isn't more than 1ft chop. I returned to my homemade ski boards, still can't beat them. Gottem from a garage sale 10 yrs ago, not pretty but they work.
