I was in the flodded(!) Grand Rapids area today for a meeting. The supplier and I were waitng for people to show.
One thing lead to another when talking about our great resources here and the things that are damaging our "Natural" system, like Asian Carp, zebra mussels, herons (SP-a bird that can dive at least 30 feet feeding off of fish damaging the population) etc.
They started talking about this purple plant that is being found by river banks and shore lines that can drain a creek or a small pond. They say it roots are so enormous that they can actually choke a spring.
Anyone here of it?
