let me premise by saying that I absolutely have no intentions of disputing or disrespecting site administrations decisions.. I understand that we all have different opinions and a common ground is necessary to make every happy...

However,

personally, I tend to be more lenient on my views as to what I find offensive... just curious as to others thoughts and the tolerance of what should/shouldn't be allowable on a pg13 site ...

Not a prude at all and hope and believe that this is a pg13 site. Pics of girls in bikini's however skimpy should be allowed as no patch or nip action is visible. Of course no full frontal or penetrations.

Disturbed by people who want these taken down and don't whine about pics of some guy (no offense CBJ) crapping on someones lawn.

Agree don't wanna hear people whining about pics of people in the same things that their kids could see at any beach or public pool even if it is risque. If you couldn't be arrested for walking down the street in it, then keep your mind closed and your trap shut!!

The pics viewed on the site to date have not offended me...

sometimes when people are fighting or waring or whatever, I get irritated at the way they treat each other...

The sexual stuff.. hey, fine by me, started a thread on it today.

Really takes alot, what offends me is the rudness... like that ROB_TR1 guy that is new that started a thread promoting his product as his first post... I was bugged, but didn't say anything. Mini found it and gave the guy a chance to comment on it (in the fishing board, I think) the guy didn't so mini erased the promotion... the guy went back in and edited it and said "nice guy, thanks" or something to that effect...

Thank you for reaffirming my actions. He did PM me and had other things to say, which will remain private. I did invite him back to post, that his input was wanted, and explained to him that the site is run on advertising and while his comments and questions are welcome, he should not "come out of the gate" advertising. Just another day in the life of a moderator I guess.

As far as objectionalble material, I have seen it here. I have seen it dealt with on other parts of the site too. I guess my feeling is that you have to try to imagine that this is your site and you are the one trying to obtain a manageable level of fun and clean representation. Potential sponsors and members can be easily turned off by some topcs/pics. If there is a questionable picture, it should be done with a link to an offsite gallery.....like BRBD has been doing. This leaves the choice to view soley on the visitor/member and removes the Lake St Clair Network from the equation.

Just my .02!

i think it depends on context, i don't want to see the nut sack of some random naked dude posted, but if someone inadvertantly caught a camera shot of rerun hanging by his bathing suit off the back of a boat and one of his nards was exposed, that would be fine, as a matter of fact that would be damn funny

on the other hand, random naked shots of most women are acceptable

i'm more offended by personal attacks on peoples feelings or physical attributes, although I may be guilty of it, I'm just joking around when I do it to snowmaker

i was also offended that someone was offended by some of my more tame avatars and signatures, i think i have been "CARE-BEAR-ED" over a dozen times!!!

as men we know what we have and it ain't pretty, don't know what women see in us

One of the things that I like about this site is that it is ok for me to check postings with my kidz in the room. My boy is 11 and loves boats and thinks the LSCN and its peeps are cool. I would hate to stumble across something that was inapropriate for him to see. Links to off site pics are fine cause after the kidz are asleep I could check them out

okay, respecting that opinion fatcat, but to you, personally as a parent.. what would be innapropriate for your child to see?... again, just curious...

another context where a nut might be acceptable is a situation where someone we know passes out from drinking way too much and is the victim of a tea-bagging

i would think those would be some funny pictures
