I can hear what sounds like a solenoid clicking when I try and raise and lower the trim, but the outdrive does not move. Fluid level is ok and checked an inline fuse.

Any ideas???

Check the ground on the pump/motor. If the unit does not have ground wire it is grounded with the mounting bolts.[self grounded] likes to get corroded. Or just a bad solenoid. Try manually jumping solenoidand check solenoid connection for corrosion.
hope this helps

If all the above checks out, sometimes the armature in the motor gets stuck. Have someone depress the switch and give the side of the motor a gentle smack with a hammer or blunt object. I had one that did that once and a while. It always would quit working when I needed it the most. Good luck porno

I had another thought--Are your batteries charged, and what does your volt meter say when running? Sould be 13-14 volts when underway. The reason that I'm asking is that the one time my tabs quit working, I traced it to my alternator- it wasn't kicking out enuf juice...I could hear the solenoid, but there wasn't enuf power to turn the pump. After a new alternator, it worked fine.
