Sheamus on his way home after his first raft-off. Wasn't a large one only 3 boats but was fun, well except for the bugs that swarmed us.

Shot just moments before someone cut him off, no doubt.

(j/k!!!)

Nice photo.

I can't wait to get some photos of our boat too. It's so hard to do that alone!

Maybe next time he will remember his camera and get a shot of me.

Oh he has a rant, but he wasn't cut off I was. I was following him into the Clinton close enough so I could catch him quickly if his steering control got worse when a little jet boat came up my port side (the driver had brown eyes) cut between us and passed his starboard side.

Yeah what Shivermetimbers said!

We had just split up and gone our own ways, got the boat up on plane and the steering cable snapped. I lost all control of the wheel from the fly bridge and had very little control from the lower helm. I ended up shifting power from one engine to the other to drive her back to port.
Big THANK YOU to ShiverMeTimbers for the escort back to port from the wife, kids, and myself! Dinner and drinks on me at Crews Inn!

And to think, this was the first time in 3 weeks that I left the Clinton River and this is what I get! Maybe it's just best that I stay at the dock

So anyone know about steering cables on at 1976 Carver Santa Cruz? My boating season is over until I can get it fixed
