Made some quick work of some wally`s today on Erie. Fished out of Sterling out in front of Fermi in 18 to 22 feet of 68 degree, weed free water that was clear blue. My bud and myself would start a 3/4 mile trolling pass with the wind and hammer back to the start of our pass and do it all over. 2 passes produced 2 limits of walleye. We were trolling hotntots behind inline boards. Anything mettallic worked today with good ole goldw/black back doing best. Landed several large sheepshead and my buddy had a reel screamer on that buried the board and peeled off about 100 feet of line before he could stop it. He got it about half way to the boat and after a couple more runs lost him without seeing it. If it was a sheep, it was a monster.LOL.
Great day on the water had us completing our limits at 10:30. The `eyes were all nice eaters at 16 to 18 inches Awsome fishing
