Sorry that these pics don't show what it was really like. I can't wait to see the aerial pics from the official count time of 4:00. All of the raft volunteers did a great job and it was an unbelievable turnout for a first year event. Definitely the best day on the lake this year and I hope it becomes a yearly event. It was cool to see it come together and I didn't hear anyone lose their heads over the rafting process.

Goose, Tango, and everyone who helped organize and participated... Great Job!!!

airial (sp) should be cool. for the first time we had a great turnout. some of the lines looked a bit screwy "t"ing off and all but hopefully all goes well. that was awesome, and no major problems at least that I heard of.

to all from sand point it was good to meet you and you all rock. and you too bullets

I'll post my thoughts when I'm not so exhausted, but the raft was AMAZING. I rode around for 9 hours on Sat. in my dinghy handing out registration forms and collecting them, the first hand views of the entire raft were awesome. I have to thank Sand Point Yacht Club for their unconditional support, as Tango said and I agree, we could not have done it without them. The dinghy support they gave ALL DAY was great.

Heres a couple pics. First boat rafted was hammertime at 3pm Friday afternoon, second afiremen, third tpaige, forth 3crabs, fifth bullets and bandaids. I pulled out Sunday afternoon a little after 6pm....never left........

Heres a portion of the Sand Pointe raft that was there Friday and for the entire weekend. We had about 30 boats spend the night along with LSCNr's and mooters rafted behind us both Friday and Saturday nights.

One more thing to add....driving around toward the front of the bay with 12 dinghys with bright orange signs, 24 people in bright orange shirts was truely an awesome sight. All the additional support from a few jetski's, ALL the walkers collecting forms, something to see..... The SPYCr's had SUCH a great time, a few had never been to muscamoot before, can't wait until next year to help again.

Watching hundreds of boats coming in at once for hours on end was truely an overwhelming thing to see.
