Fished Selfridge from about 9-3...

Got 19 and my buddies got 18.. Not monsters but all will taste good in the pan...

Got most on waxies.. Not doing much with wigglers or minnows... Seem to be hugging the bottom in about 5-6 foot of water.

Took a 45 degree turn out of the launch and walked about 1/2 mile....

Schools of about 10 came through every 20 minutes or so.. Some feeding and some are finicky...

Write me back and let me know how you guys did!!!

Hope your your buckets are heavier on the way in!

was out saturday, late morning (10am to 12:45pm) with my son (for the first fishing time on hard water) about 1/2 mile straight out from what used to to be Bud's. Besides 35mph wind gusts and the shanty (with him in it, getting air born about 3 feet) we saw several schools of perch as well as a few pike and walley go by, but no takers to the wigglers. He did have one nice size perch take a taste of it and immediately spit it back out. Other than that, the rest could have cared less.

Needless to say, he saw fish and was hooked. We'll be back out tuesday afternoon, right after school and before Shooters.

Jim

PS from talking to a few others out there, they were having about the same amount of luck.
