Well decided to head out solo for some perch action at the Belle River Hump on Sunday. Launched from the Sand Bar and headed to the Hump at 7am. Was a nice ride there but no sooner after dropping the anchor the wind kick up a few notches!!!!! Within 1hr there were 3 footers and some bigger rolling around.

Stuck it out because I was catching a steady flow of perch. A lot of throw backs but I did manage to catch 86 Perch, 6 Small Mouth, 3 Rock Bass before heading back to the ramp at 1:30pm. About 30 keepers, most in 18FOW.

Caught the perch of course on minnows and since the 2 rod rule I was dragging tubes when the perch bite was slower. The one smallie was 4LBS and the other was 5LBS the other 4 were about 2LBS.

Fun day on the water fishing wise, not so much wind and wave wise! [/color] http://posting.php?mode=editpost&p=99925 http://posting.php?mode=delete&p=99925&sid=a8e4ae8dace47c6fbd97cc1eb8e9eed6

Yup the one wih the reel weighed in just a tad over 5LBS and the other one was a touch over 4LBS. Just wish I had someone with me to take the pictures for me with the fish! Go Figure.

They were damn fun to catch, gotta love the smallies!
