Headed out at around 12:30. Fished for largies in the bay. Started off with a few fish on top water chuggers. after the top water bite slowed, landed 4 nice fish on my favorite color xrap. after landing about a 2lb larige... my next cast BAM! somthing hit and almost took the rod out of my hand. broke my line. a few seconds after the line broke i saw a 45+ inch muskie jump... there goes $7. haha. guess i should use a leader. moved in closer toward the end of the day. fished in about 3 foot of water. xraps and a red/black swimming worm were best. Caught two nice 3lb + largies on back to back casts with my worm. ones in the pic. Overall about 30 bass. Only one smallie though, i caught it on a drop shot. guess they moved deeper? biggest of the day in the pic.

Don't even think about it
Me too though, I am very impressed at the quantity of BIG largies being posted this year. Bigger musky, maybe everything in the lake is getting bigger
but yeah i agree some monsters being posted! hope it keeps up this way the whole season
