Hey guys,

Want to give you an update from yesterday's fishing (july 18). Fished Anchor Bay, Salt River area in 6-8 ft. of water from 7:00 to 1:00 with three boats.

My boat, I caught my personal best (50 1/2") on the fifth cast of the day on a pacemaker
. Had one other follow on a top raider and my son had a hit on his prop bait
.

My brother's boat caught a 35" and had 5 other follows from smaller fish all on double cowgirl type baits.

My friend's boat caught a 48" musky, a pike and had two other follows from smaller fish all on double cowgirl type baits.

Here are some pictures of my 50 1/2" and my brother's 35". Sorry, no pictures of the 48"

Congratulations. My son and I were in the blue starcraft fishing along side of you at some times (sorry if it was to close, I'm just a rookie at Musky fishing and still trying to learn). I had one hit but got sawed and actually got 2 rock bass. Your son looked to being doing fairly well for his age. Start em young. Spoke to your friend at the ramp, nice guy. Wish I had your luck Sat.

Well Jagarmeister Im glad you got to meet my friend Tony. I taught him how to musky fish 3 years ago and he's already got a 46" 48" and a 50". He's a really good fisherman. My son is only 8 years old and has a body of a 6 year old and handles a musky fishing rod really good. I just need him to land his first musky. I'm trying everything ,but it's just a matter of time I guess.
