Hit the SCR in Algonac this morning. Got to the DQ ramp at 7. Made first pass at the SP nothin. Continued pass down to next green bouy and picked up 2 (40 fow). Made another pass in same spot n got 1 more. Continued to pick up fish in the same spot and shortened up the passes. Ended up with 6 that were between 14 n 15 and one that was 20 inches.
Had my 15 yo daughter, a friend of hers and my girlfriend on the boat. The girls each caught 2 and I got the 20 incher. They were busy nettin one of there fish and I saw the rod goin off and didn't want to miss that one cause there was a nice bend in it. LOL
Hot color was firetiger crawler harness using 3 n 4oz bottom bouncers trolling with the current going 2.7 mph down stream. Off the water by 11:30, had to be to work by 2:30.

nice job. Hopefully the eyes will be a biting up in the U.P.
Great catch!
Thanks guys. The bite was pretty hot. Had atleast one fish on every pass. But the girls dont fish much so i would have to guess that we lots just as manny as we boated. Thats ok, they all had a great time cause the action was steady. Even had what i thought to be a sturgen on that snapped my 50 lb power pro off before the bottom bouncer on some zebra muscles. Got the line up and it was all frayed. I pulled the rod from the holder and got one pump on it and knew it was big, felt a few head shakes, and handed the rod off to my girlfriend. Well by that time it decided that the bottom was a better place to be. It pulled real hard and i heard a little scream out of her and the sound of the drag then pop n the rod straightened out. Pretty cool i thought, at least she got to feel how hard something big like that pulls.
very very good, jerry and guests, fun day
