I went out at Harley ramp yesterday. The north wind had blown the floating weeds up onto the the ramps in big piles.
The water temp in the Clinton River was 64* the main lake and Middle Channel water temp was 66*
Water was very cloudy with visibility about 1.5 feet.
I fished Doty and Middle Channel and got 3 SM, 2 White Bass, 2 Rock Bass and a few Perch all on soft plastics.
The fish were in no mood to chase moving baits, and the bite was very soft.

It will still be awhile before the lake clears up enough to get a good bite I believe. The perch should be showing up at the mile roads and out from the GPYC, and around buoy #25 & #26 at the shipping lane. My last three times out at the Doty was unsuccessful to say the least. I don't think that I got one fish out of there those 3 trips. Dinks in Fisher's Bay. Couple decent perch at the mouth of the Doty, but only a few. Not worth the boat ride there from the Harley ramp.
