Hit one of the Grosse Pointe parks tonight for a couple hours and nada. I had one on for about 10 seconds and it dropped off. Fished a variety of Rapala CD-9's.

Plan to make another attempt or two over the next week.

QUOTE(true_w @ Oct 31 2009, 09:14 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yes. Walleye. I should have stated that in my original post. My bad. Plan on going out tomorrow night and giving it another try.

If you have some Rapala Shad Raps give those a try with a slow & steady retrieve.

Finally got back out last Friday with my Uncle. The park changed its hours on us, so we only got about an hour of fishing in, but we ended up with 2 walleyes and a drop off. Both measured out at 26 inches and one was 6.1 lbs, the other 6.5 lbs according to my digital scale. Both off Rapala CD-9's. One on a Olive Muddler pattern and the other on the new light colored perch pattern.

Tight Lines.
