For the most part the spawn is over, and they are starting to move out a bit deeper. Start in 9 FOW and work your way out to about 12 FOW, most of them seem to be hanging around the boulders and the edges of the weeds. Crankbaits and spinners seemed to produce some decent fish this week.
Smallies?
Have not seen many posts on smallmouth's recently. Anyone catching any or is everyone just keeping quiet? Making the trip up to the big pond this Sunday and stay till Wednesday. Hoping it will be as good as it was last year. I'm assuming the miles will be the place to be? Are the mayflies still around? I know our spring here in Indiana was about 2 weeks behind the norm. Thanks for any help.

The fishing is not as hot as it was last year but is still pretty good IMO.
