I've decided to help out the coach of my son's team...(he was doing it all himself) yep just another thing to add to the list

Well anyway, last night was his first game and they won!!!

It was refreshing to see them play as a team and not bee hive ball. They are getting it this season and are playing as a team for the most part.

Daughters teams first game is tonight!!!

GO BECKA BRUISER!!!!

Wish I had gotten into sports that young and didn't wait until Junior High. I was to shy until then...

Our two girls are playing too. It is the first year for the youngest, playing on U6, quite funny to watch, she was just skipping all over the field. Just happy to be there!
And ya! they won too!! Hopefully it all ends before the great boating season begins.

Good luck on your game tonight!

It was a great game for Becka and we were very happy that the rain held off.

It was kind of a bitter sweet game for her because the team she played had her 2 best friends on it. I hope there wasn't any hurt feelings. You never know at that age.

Girls can be quite catty but you didn't hear that from me.

Way to go on the wins...
I also use to coach my son's minor & major little league team for years. He gave up when he moved up to the traveling team..
On my computer desk I have a hardball signed by each child on the team with their jersey number on it by their name. That ball was from our first win as a team. It means more to me then if I had a Babe Ruth signed baseball... :>)
Be proud of your kids parents... They grow up so soon...

If you guys have a free night you should come to see one of the games.

They are usually at 6 on the weekday games and around 11 on Saturday.

You need to bring enought to share--- remember there are at least 12 players and 2 parents for each of those. Oh yeah plus siblings and coaches ------ it could be an expensive outing for you.

My girls play around Sterling Heights.
Saturday we will be at Bethesda church fields at 2pm and Havel Elementary at 4pm. I'm assistant coaching, it is fun to see the girls have so much fun. Never thought I'd be doing this, just did it cause I wanted to play too and it was the next best thing to help out the kiddies

Where do you you guys play?

Yah, and we have snacks this Saturday too...it does get expensive
