Got out for a couple hours with the nephews late this afternoon. Best spot was just north of the Grosse Pointe Park pier (Alter Rd, Windmill Point) in 25 to 30 feet of water. Caught 6 nice walleye and a big northern in one hour.

The pike was 36 inches, weighed 15 pounds, and put up a great fight. A nice break from the walleye. Caught it on 6 lb test.

Boy, am I glad we went out for that quick trip!
