I hear everyone talk about the south shore this time of year. They say the cooler the better for down there. The fish are supposed to be back in the shallows now that we have cooler weather and the south part of the lake is the best. Well all of the weights in the recent tournaments have still been coming out of the channels or the river. Where is the fishing usually hot this time of year on the south shore, and when should I stop fishing the river. Its still producing now and Im not sure if I even need to fish the main lake the next two weeks. Any advice would be greatly apprecitated. Where are all of these sacks of fish people talk about on the south shore, maybe its still not cool enough I don't know? I would love to fish a ton down there this fall especially in my next few tournaments but is it worth it.

Smallie5: If your doing good in the river enjoy, but if you want to experiment, look for other boats on the southside. Just start a drifting pattern till you locate the dept there at. Also look for dark area's and hope there weedbeds or rock's. Looking forward to your next post on how it goes for you.
