Couldn't find any victims to go with me so went out in front of the spillway by myself last night. Went out between 1/4 to 1/2 a mile and set up camp. Stayed from 4-8pm but then the wind started getting strong so gave it up. Ended up with only 2 8-9 inch perch and belly hooked a walleye that was close to 17 inches but couldn't get it through the hole due to where the hook was. It just kept coming up sideways into the hole and couldn't get a hold of the head. Worked out well anyways, by the third time it popped off the hooks and swam happily away. Talked to a few guys coming in and they said the action has slowed way down. As always good luck to all!!

I fished off of crocker with the masses at first light yesterday and got about 20...all nice fish 10 to 12" on minnows. Moved about 3/4 mile S off of 400 club and didn't get bit in an hour and a half.

Sure this weekend will be a zoo..... Ice is about 12" thick..There were trucks a mile out yesterday.
